Search Tips

You can select as few or as many of the search criteria as you like - it really depends on how broad or detailed a search you want to create.

The following information explains each search criteria and how to get the most out of the job search in order for you to find your ideal job.

• Select Specialism - choose your chosen profession.
  
  
• Select Sector - if you are interested in working across all sectors then don't make any selections. If you are interested in jobs within Accountancy Practice, Legal and Property then select Professional Services. Similarly select the other sub headings (Financial Services, Media or Commerce) if you are interested in the sectors under those titles - if you want to make multiple selections across different sectors, choose the advanced job search link below the quick job search. And for a detailed search just choose one sector.
  
  
• Select Location - if you are flexible in where you work then don't make any selctions. If you are keen to work in London and don't mind where, then choose London. Alternatively, select an area of London for a more detailed search, or Home Counties, Australia or New Zealand depending on where your interests lie.
  
  
• Select Salary - choose a salary band that you think you should be earning - be realistic in line with your current salary. To help you make your selection and discover how much you are worth in the current market check out our salary surveys.
  
  
• Select Job Type - if you are interested in temporary & contract opportunities as well as permanent roles then leave the job type selection alone. Otherwise select your preferred job type.
• Keywords/Job Reference - the free text box allows you to make a detailed job search using your chosen keywords or job reference.
