Graduate vacancies still available at PwC

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has said that there are still openings for people interested in graduate
accountancy jobs and other professional services roles within the firm.
The company is planning to hire some 1,000 graduates to its UK offices this year, even though the wider jobs market is tightening and economic conditions are still not stable.
Sonja Stockton, head of recruitment at the accountancy firm, explained that PwC's decision to employ university leavers was part of the company's plans for long-term business success.
She added: "While the graduate employment market is tougher than it has been in a generation, there are still opportunities available provided that new graduates focus rigorously on their applications ensuring they dedicate time and research to the organisation and reflect accurately their academic achievements in their applications.
"They also need to be more open minded and flexible about the options available to them."
PwC employs around 16,000 people in the UK.
