The team are focused on providing a complete trade support service to the equity derivative trading desks. They adopt a very control focused approach to trade and life cycle management and this role requires someone with a good technical understanding of equity derivatives and trade processes but also someone with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. A minimum 2 years equity derivatives knowledge is essential ideally gained from a middle office environment. You should have a strong understanding of trade and event management issues and processes, be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of risk management from a middle office and operations perspective, and also possess a keen awareness of the bigger picture and what the teams you interact with on a daily basis are responsible for. The trade support group cover exotic interest rate derivative derivatives on behalf of the trading desk and are involved in complex support functions to mitigate risk on behalf of the desk and operational efficiencies are maximised on a day to day basis.
