The trade support group covers vanilla and exotic interest rate derivative derivatives on behalf of the trading desk and are involved in complex support functions to mitigate risk on behalf of the desk and operational efficiencies are maximised on a day to day basis. They review terms sheets against the risk systems ensuring all trade economics are properly reflected, identify and reconcile trade booking errors and amend trades in conjunction with front office, Assist in resolving all trade management and life cycle event issues, and pro-actively enhance process efficiencies and and systems enhancements on behalf of the business. An excellent awareness and understanding of risk and control is essential to be successful in this role and you should have a track record of improving control framework in a busy middle office trade support environment. As well as strong interest rate derivatives knowledge, you should be numerate, analytical, a strong problem solver and comfortable working to tight deadlines and constant pressure. Working as part of a client facing team, you will be responsible for direct client interaction in regard to the issuance, receipt and settlement of all margin related activity for OTC products, Repo and FX Prime Brokerage. Key accountabilities will include: managing counterparty risk exposure and providing valuation support to clients on a daily basis, resolving any disputes with counterparties, escalating any issues, ensuring procedures and relevant controls are implemented, developing key relationships with support and front office teams. To be considered for this fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful and forward-thinking team you will need to have solid collateral management and valuations experience covering OTC derivative products, excellent client services skills, strong understanding of ISDA CSA and other margin related documentation.
