The role will be to ensure all parts of the business are tax compliant with regards to stamp duty, capital gains and withholding tax for London and Europe. The team work very closely with the day to day tax team and other operational groups such as position services, asset servicing, client services and risk to analyse and review operational processes and systems to identify control weaknesses and areas for enhancement. The role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to very senior management across the business and the chance to gain a much deeper and broader understanding of operations in general. The role requires excellent problem solving and relationship management skills as well as the ability to initiate and drive change through good use of project and influencing skills. A strong background in tax, preferably Stamp Duty, is required or alternatively good operations knowledge with an understanding of position services, dividends or asset servicing and desire to pursue a specialist career in tax. read more...
