The role will be manage a team whose priority is to ensure all parts of the business are tax compliant with regards to stamp duty, capital gains and withholding tax for London and Europe. The team work very closely with the day to day tax team and other operational groups such as position services, asset servicing, client services and risk, analyse and review operational processes and systems to identify control weaknesses and areas for enhancement. The role offers a great opportunity to work alongside very senior management across the business and drive strategy relating to all operational tax issues across operations. The role requires excellent leadership and management experience, strong problem solving and relationship management skills as well as the ability to initiate and drive change through good use of project and change skills.
