They now require an experienced project manager with good business analysis skills who has a good knowledge of equity or fixed income products and the front to back trade life cycle. The team are involved with a range of responsibilities to support the trading desk and primarily complete curve validation processes and analysis on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. As well as contributing towards these processes the role would require regular interaction with the desk to help define and maintain new curves. There would also be significant interaction with risk management to optimize and standardise the use of models for PnL and validation purposes. The team also play an active role in helping improve and develop the reporting and analytics systems so strong projects and systems skill is desirable. The ability to improve processes and control through out the team and the wider middle office would be a significant advantage. The team are ideally looking for someone with good options and / or commodities experience although consideration will be given to anyone with a strong valuations background.
