The team are focused on providing a complete trade support service to the equity derivative trading desks. They adopt a very control focused approach to trade and life cycle management and this role requires someone with a good technical understanding of equity derivatives and trade processes but also someone with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. A minimum 2 years equity derivatives knowledge is essential ideally gained from a middle office environment. You should have a strong understanding of trade and event management issues and processes, be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of risk management from a middle office and operations perspective, and also possess a keen awareness of the bigger picture and what the teams you interact with on a daily basis are responsible for. Good technology and project skills are also essential with a track record of re-engineering processes & enhancing efficiencies desired.
